Understanding my why

Why I ran for office in 2018

In 2018, I stood before you as a survivor of a violent crime, armed with two decades of Circuit Courtroom experience, seeking your support to fight for justice and give power to the voices of victims as Commonwealth’s Attorney.

You elected me in a landslide victory. As a result, I stand proud to say that I have delivered  on those promises. I've obtained repeated historic trial verdicts resulting in the maximum sentences allowed by law keeping violent offenders off the streets.

I've resolved hundreds of cold cases, including those involving child sex abuse, while working closely with victims to ensure they are heard and treated with the dignity they deserve.

I am honored to serve our community and will continue to do so with your support.
